In 2012 in Utah, it is going to be a little different for you. While there will be lots of fun events and activities and parades, fireworks and concerts and more, there are special Utah fireworks regulations for private fireworks use. - American Fork: American Fork Steel Days begins July 14-21. The Grand Parade begins the 21st at 9:30 AM followed by the Big Show and Fireworks at 6 PM.
- Beaver: Civic Arts Children’s Theatre July 4-7, Children’s Parade, Fireworks at Greenville after dark.
- Blanding: Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, parade, food, booths, carnival, and fireworks.
- Boulder: Start your festivities at the 4 PM parade. The 4th of July program starts at 5 PM, followed by the dance at 7 PM.
- Brian Head: Fireworks on July 4th, Arts and Crafts Festival July 5-7. Annual ATV Rally July 6-7.
- Brigham City: Eagles Breakfast, American Legion Baseball, Patriotic Service at 9 AM. Open-Swim night, Fireworks after dark.
- Cedar City: July 4th Independence Day Parade 9:30 AM on Main Street. The parade starts at 400 South and ends at the Main Street Park at 200 North.
- Centerville: Festivities begin at 6:30 AM with breakfast and the Freedom Run. 9 AM Parade, 10 AM carnival and art exhibit. Police Auction at 12 PM.
- Clearfield: Freedom walk and Boy Scout breakfast begin at 7 AM, with parade at 9:30. Clearfield Aquatic Center Open Plunge, 1 PM– 6 PM. Fisher Park Festival 6-11 pm, Clearfield Community Theater’s “Give My Regards to Broadway” 8 pm – 9:55 PM.
- Coalville: Begins at 7:00 AM with a 5K race, and bike-a-thon. Breakfast is served at 8:00. The day continues with local entertainment, games for kids, young adults and adults. Ten cent ice cream cones are served. Parade is held down Main Street. The day ends with a fireworks presentation.
- East Millcreek: 4th of July festivities begin with breakfast at 7:00 AM and the parade at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Junior High School.
- Enoch: Enoch City will sponsor the 4th of July Celebration which begins with a 7 AM run and ends with a fireworks display at dusk. There will be free hot dogs at 7:00 PM followed by an evening program before the fireworks.
- Escalante: Wednesday July 4th Fireworks at dark. Clayte’s 5K Memorial Run 7 AM at the High School. Fireman’s Breakfast 7:30 AM Escalante Fire Hall. Farmer Market Town Center Park 11 AM.
- Fillmore: 7:00 AM – Flag and Legion Ceremony 9:30 AM Freedom Mile, 10:00 AM Parade. 11:00 to 5:00 PM – Families in the Park (Bring blankets/chairs and relax) 1:00 to 2:00 PM- Kid’s Games, 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Swimming, 4:00 PM- Matinee at Showhouse “Spiderman 4” Fireworks at Dusk.
- Fruit Heights: 73rd Annual Old fashioned 4th of July Parade will take place on the 4th at 11 am. (500 E to Main Street)
Garden City: 4th of July Celebration. No times given. - Gunnison: Restless Heart in concert Tuesday, July 3rd @ 8:30 pm. and Fireworks to follow around 10:10 p.m., 6:00-8:30 a.m. American Legion Breakfast, 8:00 AM Boy Scout Flag Ceremony, 9:00 a.m. Parade (with Hill Air Force Base Flyover)followed by lots of food and fun at the City Park. 2:00 p.m. Free Swimming at the Gunnison City Pool.
- Holladay: Children’s Parade 8:30 am begins at Pine Park (2120 E 4500 S), Breakfast at 9:00 am at New Village Plaza, Third annual city of Holladay Chamber of Commerce Criterium Bike Race 10 am – 3 pm. Fireworks 10:10 pm.
- Huntsville: Once again, our annual celebration will include our incredible parade, fireworks, children’s games, family activities, outdoor performances, food, and lots of fun! The day ends with a concert in the park during the evening and a huge fireworks show at dark.
- Hurricane: 7 AM Lion’s Club Breakfast, 8:30 am freedom Parade, 10:30 AM, Rough Riders ATV Rodeo, Free Swim 1-4 pm, 4-7 PM, 9:30 PM Flag Retirement Ceremony.
- Hyrum: The day will begin with a Chuck Wagon Breakfast and the Blacksmith Fork Freedom Run, and followed by a parade at noon. Fireworks and Entertainment 8-10:30 pm, followed by Teens Dance until midnight.
- Kaysville: The 4th of July celebrations will start with a breakfast at 6:30, as well as a 5K and 10K run at 7:30. There will be a family festival from 10 am to 9 pm, with a parade at 11 am. Fireworks at 10 pm.
- Layton: The day begins at 6:30 with breakfast and fun run/ walk. Parade at 10:30 am with fireworks at 10 pm.
- Lehi: Liberty Days Celebration and Lehi Fireworks on July 4. Swim in the Patriotic Pool at the Legacy Center from 9 a.m.-2:50 p.m. in the red and blue dyed water. (Regular entrance fees and pool rules apply.) The fireworks show starts at 10:00 pm at Thanksgiving Point Electric Point.
- Lindon: Liberty Days Celebration and Lehi Fireworks on July 4. The fireworks show starts at 10:00 pm.
- Logan: “Freedom Fire” Logan’s extravaganza on July 3. The fireworks show begins at 6:00 pm at USU Romney Stadium.
- Magna: Lion’s Club Breakfast on July 4. Parade at 12:00 pm. Fireworks begin at dusk (10 pm) at Magna Copper Park.
- Manti: Parade at 7 pm, with fireworks afterward.
- Midway: Festivities will start with the cannon firing at 6 followed by a Sunrise Service at 7. Fireworks show will begin at approximately 10:00pm from Memorial Hill.
- Millcreek: East Mill Creek Lion’s Club presents the 4th of July Parade. It will be located at Evergreen Avenue.
- Moab: The festivities start off with a parade at 9:30am (beginning at 400 North 500 West). Enjoy games, activities and prizes at Swanny City Park (400 North 100 West) from 10:00am-2:00pm. Fireworks display at dusk.
- Morgan: The day begins with a bike ride/race or 5K run. Enjoy a tasty pancake breakfast and participate in the flag ceremony and community covenant signing ceremony. There will also be dinner and a performance by Eric Dodge (with Talia Wilson opening).
- Moroni: Activities begin at 7 am with the Flag Ceremony at the Moroni City Hall. Fireworks at 10 pm presented by the Moroni City Fire Department.
- Murray: The Lion’s Club breakfast will be on July 4 between 6:30-10:30 a.m. Murray’s 2011 Fun Days wills also be on the 4th, the parade will start at 8:30 a.m.The fireworks will start at 10 p.m. at Murray Park.
- North Salt Lake: The Eaglewood fireworks will be on July 3 at Eaglewood Golf Course. They will take place at dark.
- Oakley: It will be the 77th Annual Oakley Independence Day Parade & Celebration. Many events will take place in the celebration. The rodeo will be July 4-7, with fireworks after each one. The parade will be on July 4 at 10:00 a.m. at Center St. and State Road 32. The Patriotic Program will follow the parade.
- Ogden: Ogden’s Cherry Days will take place on July 4. The parade starting at 10 a.m. will start on Washington Blvd.
- Park City: The Park City celebration will kick off on July 4 with a pancake dinner in the city park. Park City’s Traditional Independence Day Celebration will take place the 4th. The parade will start at 11 a.m. on Main St. fireworks will be at dusk at Park City Mountain Resort.
- Pleasant Grove: The city will hold a July 4 fireworks show that will run between 9:30 and 10:00.
- Price: Family fun and fireworks will take place on July 4. The fireworks will start once dark hits at the Carbon County Fair Grounds.
- Provo: Provo’s America’s Freedom Festival weekend will kick off on July 2 at 5:00 p.m. with festival booths and events. July 2 is the awaited Beach Boys and Scotty McCreery concert at 8 p.m at the Stadium of Fire. with fireworks following the show. The Parade starts July 4th at 10 am at Center Street and University Avenue.
- Richfield: Richfield’s “Flame of Freedom” celebration will begin Saturday June 30th with the Miss Richfield Pageant. Cannon Salute at 6 am on July 4th followed by parade at 9:30 am. Fireworks at 9:30 pm will precede the dance at Richfield City Pool 10:15- Midnight.
- Riverton: Riverton Town Days festival will take place June 28- July 7. The parade will start at 6:30 p.m. on July 2. The fireworks will be at 10 p.m. July 4.
- Roosevelt: The July 4 celebration will include a rodeo at 7 p.m. in Constitution Park. The parade is at 11 am, followed by kids carnival and water bounce house.
- Salina: The city’s celebration will include a hot air balloon festival June 29-30.The 4th of July Parade will begin at 5, with the rodeo starting at 7:45 at the Rodeo Grounds on East Main. Fireworks will take place afterward
- Salt Lake City: All location’s fireworks will take place on July 4. •Sugarhouse park’s fireworks will begin at 10 p.m. •Jordan Park’s fireworks will begin at 10 p.m. •Gallivan Plaza’s fireworks will begin at 10 p.m. •The Bees game is the evening of the 4th with fireworks following.
- Sandy: The city’s 4th of July parade will start at 6 p.m. and the fireworks will be at 10 p.m. Evening concerts will include Jesse Funk and the Salamanders.
- Scofield: The Pleasant Valley Days celebration is on Friday and Saturday, July 6th and 7th. The parade will start at 11 a.m. on the 7th, and the fireworks will take place at dusk on the lake.
- South Salt Lake: The Freedom Festival will take place on July 3 from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., with fireworks at 6. The parade will take place July 4th at 9:30 am.
- St. George: The celebration will be July 4. The “I Have a Dream” parade will start at 8 a.m. and the fireworks will start at 10 p.m.
- Tooele: Tooele’s Bit’n Spur 4th of July Rodeo will be July 3. The parade will take place on the 4th at 9 AM followed by activities, games, and fun at the Tooele City Park.
- Torrey: The Torrey Apple Days will take place July 6-7. The swap meet, ATV rodeo, patriotic program and pie-eating contest will take place the afternoon of the 7th.
- Vernal: The parade will take place July 4th at 10 am.
- West Point: Events on the 4th start at 6 am. Parade is at 8:30 am and fireworks at dark.
